I have been holding in a secret for a few weeks now, but after talking to Lyndsy today, she has given me permission to officially announce that she will be reprising her role as Katie Deauxma in Kick Ass 2.
Here is what Lyndsy had to say“It’s a small part because of Nikita, but I’m in it, I start shooting in September. You can post it. I’m deff gunna do it, unless something crazy happens.”

I’m serious. You think I’m not serious? I’m serious.
I was afraid Stardust wasn’t gonna be that good, I fucking adore that movie. I was afraid Kick-Ass was gonna be kinda shitty, I think that movie is hilarious. And I was afraid that X-Men First Class was gonna be a whole whirlwind of suck… and now it comes close to the second movie in being better. (It probably is, I just won’t admit it.)
Like, I swear to God. I’m never fucking doubting that guy. I didn’t really love Layer Cake that much (besides Owen and Eames obviously), so maybe it’s mostly when Vaughn does adaptations. WHICH I’M NOT AGAINST. I want him to direct the Heir Trilogy movies, I want him to direct the Y The Last Man movies (lol can you imagine? SO MANY VAUGHNS). Honestly, I ended up liking the movies he directed more than their originals. I’ll admit it, what? Yes, even Stardust.
Just. He needs to direct more of my favorite books, that’s all. I will never doubt him again.
