I have a question. Has anybody actually SEEN Pleasantville?

Gary Ross wrote and directed that movie and it was fucking flawless, you best respect, ya hear? 

And that’s not even going into that other movie he wrote and directed that was Oscar-nominated. lol we didn’t get our dreamcast for Hunger Games so let’s make fun of his directing and writing, right? How about you actually watch those movies and get over your damn dreamcast since the movie comes out TOMORROW. 

So basically I refuse to be on Tumblr much once I see the movie because in the end I know I’m gonna see negativity all up on my dashboard up until after the Mockingjay movie comes out.

  • Gary Ross: I don't think it's appropriate for this film. Um I don't.. I think that if we shoot this movie in 3D, we become the Capitol. We start making spectacle out of something, that I don't think is really appropriate here. There needs to be an aesthetic distance here, because of the nature of the material.

I love that guy, I knew he’d do a good job when he was attached because I loved Pleasantville so much. <3 That whole trailer was fucking awesome man. From 2.10 (when she’s making the sign) to the end, I’m pretty much choking up. 

FLAWLESS. I’M PUMPED. COME SOONER MARCH. 

I’m hearing that Josh Hutcherson was chosen because he was a favorite for Gary Ross from the very beginning and nobody was gonna have a chance anyways.

Or you know… he was chosen because he was best for the role as an actor. 

You know, that’s what I’m thinking must have happened, but what do I know? I also happen to like Gary Ross, so when I hear bashing for him too I can’t help but roll my eyes. 

Knowing Gary Ross, I half-expected Tobey MaGuire to play Cinna…
